SOS Systems is a Memphis-based managed service provider (in business since 1992 and an Intermedia partner since 2010) that delivers cloud services to businesses and government organizations. The firm needed to win larger, regulated customers and respond instantly to urgent opportunities—most notably when a local police department’s Exchange servers had been down for four weeks and required an emergency migration, a compliant solution, and a way to trial the new platform before committing.

SOS turned to Intermedia’s hosted Exchange, using its fast migration process, free trial and built-in compliance/security features to restore email service quickly and prove the solution. With Intermedia’s platform and Partner Program support, SOS became more agile, can compete with much larger firms, is pursuing bigger government contracts, and is expanding geographically with greater confidence.
