Mesa Systems, a full‑service moving, storage, and logistics provider with six locations across five states, faced mounting communication problems from six separate on‑premises phone systems. The setup was costly and complex, required VPN “workarounds” for remote staff, and could only redirect four concurrent calls before hitting busy signals—limitations that became untenable during the pandemic as remote work increased and the company needed scalable, reliable communications.

Working with longtime partner Montana Phone, Mesa Systems moved to Intermedia’s private‑label cloud communications platform (Unite, AnyMeeting) and deployed Intermedia Contact Center. The migration eliminated on‑prem infrastructure and VPNs, removed busy‑signal bottlenecks, simplified administration across locations, and enabled efficient call routing to remote agents—delivering greater functionality, scalability, lower complexity and licensing pressure, and improved customer service.
