Korg USA chooses Exchange Email for peace of mind

Korg USA, the U.S. distributor of Korg's electronic musical instruments and related brands, faced a looming IT problem in 2010: their on-premises Exchange 2003 servers were at end-of-life and costly to replace. The team needed a hosted solution that offered Active Directory synchronization, public folders, larger mailboxes and mobile device support, and after evaluating vendors they selected Intermedia as the best fit.

Korg migrated nearly 150 users to Intermedia’s Exchange 2010 and adopted additional services including public folders, AD sync, mobile email (Android, Apple, Windows and BlackBerry), hosted SharePoint and Lync. The move delivered disaster resilience and “peace of mind,” a consistent inbox/calendar/contacts experience across PC, web and mobile (with OWA features like conversation view and shared calendars), and improved productivity and global communications for support of their retail network.
