Intermedia Private Cloud gives Regency Centers all the benefits of hosting—with specialized integration

Regency Centers, a publicly traded owner and operator of 322 grocery-anchored shopping centers nationwide, relies on email for tenant, customer and operational communications and must meet strict regulatory and compliance requirements. Although Regency had used Intermedia’s Exchange Email since 2010 for reliable, compliant messaging, the company needed additional integration and customization—specifically cloud archiving (LiveOffice), unified messaging (Cisco Unity Connection) and corporate signature management (eMailSignature)—without losing Exchange’s management, mobile access and compliance benefits.

Regency moved to an Intermedia Private Cloud that paired their Exchange Email with LiveOffice, Unity Connection and eMailSignature using server agents and VPN connections, and provisioned large (3 TB) mailboxes to avoid quotas. The project was provisioned, tested and migrated in about 30 days with no business downtime; the result preserved Exchange reliability and compliance while enabling the required integrations and storage, and let Intermedia manage the infrastructure so Regency’s IT team could focus on business priorities.
