New River Valley Pediatrics, a pediatric practice in Blacksburg and Radford, VA, needed to collect patient payments more efficiently and reduce billing and payment costs. To address this, the practice partnered with InstaMed and enrolled in the InstaMed Patient Engagement Program to drive online payments and eStatement adoption.

InstaMed helped by redesigning statements, removing tear slips/envelopes, and promoting a consumer-tested Patient Portal with a secure digital wallet, payment plans, eStatements and clearer billing communications. As a result of the InstaMed Patient Engagement Program, New River Valley Pediatrics saw a 17x increase in online payments, a 3x increase in patients enrolled in eStatement, and now 10% of all patient payments are self-service.
