HealthReach, an urgent care provider, faced rising patient balances, frequent past‑due accounts and the inefficiency of sending up to three paper statements per bill — compounded by time‑consuming manual card entry because their previous processor didn’t integrate with their practice management system. To address this, HealthReach implemented integrated payments through InstaMed (connected with their Experity system) to streamline collections and securely save payment methods on file.

InstaMed enabled HealthReach to save cards on file and automatically charge balances 21 days after a single statement, while integration with Experity posts payments automatically and eliminates duplicate data entry. With support from InstaMed’s training materials, patient adoption of saved cards rose to nearly 100%, resulting in over 90% of collections automated, statement costs cut by more than half, a 50% reduction in A/R over 90 days, and a 90% decrease in posting time.
