The Laundress, a premium laundry and home-cleaning brand founded in 2004, faced the challenge of launching its new Way Out West detergent and fabric-spray collection exclusively on Instagram and turning launch-day interest into immediate sales while reaching new customers beyond its followers. The brand needed a scalable, engaging format to create excitement and enable on-the-spot purchases.

The Laundress ran a co-hosted, hour-long Instagram Live shopping event with a creator partner, pinned products for in-app checkout, and supported the launch with targeted pre-event ads, organic posts and stories, and a 14-day post-event conversions campaign. The activation generated more than USD 40,000 in sales during the hour, drove 88% of shop visits from non-followers, and delivered lifts of 23 points in ad recall, 13 points in brand awareness, and 4 points in purchase consideration.
