PlanetArt, the company behind the FreePrints app that lets users order 45 free photo prints a month from their smartphones, sought to re‑engage new and lapsed users and boost app installs and in‑app sales. The challenge was to increase downloads, registrations and purchases by making the app experience feel authentic and compelling in a crowded mobile ad environment.

PlanetArt partnered with creators to produce short, authentic videos adapted into branded content ads across Instagram—leveraging Reels’ visual style—and ran them in an always‑on program to keep creatives fresh and expand reach. By scaling creator partnerships and optimizing for installs, registrations and purchases, the campaign drove a 2x lift in incremental in‑app purchases and a 5x lift in incremental in‑app registrations versus regular content alone.
