Iglo Germany, a leading frozen‑food brand known for its fish and vegetable products, wanted to raise awareness for its Iglo Fischfilet Mehrkorn‑Panade and measure the incremental impact of running ads in Instagram Stories in addition to the feed.
Iglo ran a three‑cell test—feed only, feed plus Stories using the same creative, and feed plus Stories with Stories‑optimized creative—using best‑practice ad creative and automatic placements. The September 2019 campaign showed that adding Stories delivered a 6.4‑point lift in campaign awareness (a 2.7‑point lift versus feed only), made 22,000 additional people aware of the product, and cut the cost per incremental person by 52%.
