HiSmile, founded in 2014, is a teeth‑whitening brand offering an all‑natural product that delivers results in 10 minutes. The company wanted to boost awareness among men aged 15–25 while continuing to acquire female customers 18–34, but had struggled to reach young male consumers.

HiSmile ran targeted Instagram Stories ads featuring 15‑second punchy videos repurposed from influencer Conor McGregor, timed around his major fight and paired with bold animated typography and direct ecommerce links. The campaign reached over 14 million millennials, achieved a 5× return on ad spend, and drove a 90% increase in male customers, creating an even gender split within two months.
