Flip is an Indonesian fintech payment platform with more than 10 million users that offers low-cost transfers, mobile top-ups and business financial management tools. The company wanted to test whether branded content ads could drive more app installs and reduce its cost per install versus its usual campaigns.

Flip partnered with two creators to produce video branded-content ads run across Instagram placements (Feed, Stories, Reels, Explore) and extended to Facebook and Audience Network, using the app-installs objective and clear CTA buttons to a broad 21–50 audience in Indonesia over five days. The creator-driven approach delivered a 5.5X lower cost per install and 15X more complete registrations after app install.
