BritBox UK, the streaming home of British originals, faced the challenge of launching its first original crime drama and turning awareness into subscribers. For the launch of The Beast Must Die the team needed a testing framework and creative approach that would maximize impact and inform future Originals.
Working early with Facebook and Instagram, BritBox developed a typology of creative tests and tried new formats and messaging to drive engagement and acquisition. The campaign delivered strong uplifts across key metrics (11.5‑point, 3.4‑point, 7.6‑point and 4.8‑point improvements), produced learnings for future launches, and prompted BritBox to expand testing into business‑as‑usual activity.
