Batch Organics is a UK-based maker of chef-designed, nutritionist-verified frozen smoothies and breakfast bowls that are flash-frozen and organic. The company wanted to identify ad creative that would better engage its audience, drive sales and reduce acquisition costs.
Over three weeks, Batch Organics and agency TRGT ran vertical slideshow ads in Instagram Stories—starting with simple creative, learning which imagery resonated, then iterating to more complex slideshows that ended with an Instagram-only discount. Targeting began broadly (ages 25–54) and was refined to top-performing audiences. The campaign delivered a 23% higher click-through rate, 28% lower cost per purchase and 32% lower cost per click.
