Bookblock, a UK- and US-based gifting company founded in 2013, wanted a platform partner that could help it scale toward a goal of tripling turnover while improving ecommerce performance. The company chose Insider because it was easy to set up and could free up development resources while supporting onsite customization and personalized email campaigns.
Using Insider, Bookblock added an automated historical search keywords dropdown, countdown timers for seasonal deadlines, and ongoing web and mobile web optimization tests. The search feature drove a 37.66% conversion rate uplift and a 20.36% average order value uplift on desktop, while the countdown timer produced a 6.4% conversion rate uplift and a 10% AOV uplift on desktop, plus a 93% conversion rate uplift and 10% AOV uplift on mobile. Overall, Bookblock said engagement improved and conversion rates increased by 12%.
