Hyundai, South Korea’s largest car manufacturer, wanted to increase online test drive requests as part of its digital marketing strategy. The team noticed that many visitors were leaving car detail pages without signing up for a test drive, which limited lead generation.

Hyundai worked with Insider to build personalized lead generation overlays for its desktop website, including a triggered message on car detail pages and an exit intent overlay with callback assistance. Insider reported a 13.2% uplift in lead generation from the triggered overlay scenario and an 86% uplift from the exit intent overlay.
