Booktopia, an online book retailer founded in Sydney in 2004, needed a better way to manage product discovery across a large and growing set of categories. Its earlier recommendations process relied on manual work, and the team wanted technology that would reduce human intervention while helping improve onsite user experience.
Insider implemented onsite category optimization and smart product recommendations, including granular segmentation and A/B testing. Booktopia said Insider’s product discovery solutions helped deliver a 2.01% uplift in conversion rate through category optimization, and a 3.64% uplift on desktop and 2.52% uplift on mobile web from improved recommendations.
