Fashionvalet, Malaysia’s first online fashion store, wanted to improve the way visitors moved through its site and reduce exits before conversion. The company worked with Insider to add personalized exit intent overlays that responded to what each visitor had or had not done on the site.

Insider used behavioral targeting to show different overlays for different segments, including links to new arrivals, sales, and email collection on the registration page. The new arrivals overlay increased conversion rate by 23.80%, the sales overlay lifted conversion rate by 21.32%, and the registration exit overlay increased subscribers by 31.68%.
