Using Insider’s behavioral targeting module, the company showed a notification to users with less than 3 euros in their account immediately after login, explaining that there was no minimum limit to play the low-stake football game. The message reached more than 450,000 users, generated a 20.7% click-rate, and led 35.08% of players to place a bet, compared with 23.91% in the control group, for a 46% uplift in conversions.
