Online fashion retailer Answear had a high-traffic website but sought to increase its conversion rate by unlocking the potential value of its visitors. They partnered with the vendor Insider and its digital experience platform to harness the power of social proof and create a greater sense of urgency for shoppers on their path to purchase.
Using Insider, Answear implemented a solution that displayed social proof notifications on product pages, which were triggered when an item had been viewed a significant number of times in a 24-hour period. They A/B tested these messages to determine the most effective ones. This strategy led to a double-digit increase in conversion uplift for the retailer.
