New Balance wanted to use the Halloween period to boost online sales by making a 20% discount easy for site visitors to see. The company needed a quick way to launch a sitewide promotion without burdening its IT department, so it turned to Insider.
Using Insider, New Balance added a banner across the top of all pages with the offer and coupon code, along with a pop-up triggered after a visitor viewed two pages. The Halloween pop-up delivered a 255% uplift in conversion rate versus the average for the previous six months, while the top banner produced a 556% conversion rate uplift over the same period.
