AMF Bowling Centers, the world’s largest owner and operator of bowling alleys with more than 240 locations, believed mainstream review sites were under‑representing their customer experience and risking their reputation. They needed a way to direct online traffic to verified, current feedback so potential customers would see an accurate reflection of how their locations were performing.
AMF implemented InMoment’s OpenTell to publish certified Voice of Customer reviews secured by unique survey codes, reducing fraud and surfacing real‑time, unfiltered ratings. Over six months this produced an average of 241 reviews per location versus 23 on Yelp and Google (a 948% increase), an average review age of 6 days versus 176, roughly 90% customer satisfaction compared with 68% on other sites, and ratings about one star higher—giving consumers a fresher, more representative view of AMF’s performance.
