VRL Logistics Ltd., India’s largest logistics and transportation company, needed a better way to reconcile highway toll charges with bank statements. Their finance team was doing this manually, a labor-intensive process that was time-consuming and prone to errors. To solve this, VRL Logistics used Infobip’s SMS-powered communication capabilities, including a Virtual Long Number, to automate toll payment tracking.

Infobip implemented a solution that sent toll payment details via SMS directly into VRL Logistics’ ERP system, enabling automatic matching with bank statements as vehicles exited highways. The result was full automation of a process that previously required 15 finance employees, improving internal efficiency and supporting the company’s growth with faster, more accurate reconciliation.
