dahmakan, a South East Asian food delivery service, was facing low conversion rates on customer communications and had been relying mainly on email and push notifications. SMS was only a secondary channel because it was costly with their previous provider, even though dahmakan saw that SMS performed better for certain local messages through its high delivery rates and easy-to-save format.
Working with Infobip and using Infobip’s API, dahmakan tested SMS alongside push and email, found it delivered the highest conversion rate, and made it their primary channel for daily communications. As a result, Infobip helped dahmakan double conversion rates for promotional campaigns while cutting costs by 30%, and also improved customer experience with faster support and better local communication.
