Croatian Postal Bank (HPB), one of Croatia’s largest domestically‑owned banks with 61 branches, service in over 1,000 post offices and more than 635,000 retail customers, needed to modernize its customer communication — delivering instant, reliable mobile and online banking notifications, alerts and app links at scale. To meet this challenge HPB partnered with Infobip to deploy professional SMS and mobile messaging solutions, notably the mGate enterprise messaging platform.

Infobip implemented mGate to provide database integration, scheduled and event‑based SMS, delivery reports, comprehensive analytics and 24/7 technical support. As a result, HPB gained full control over customer messaging and reliable delivery tracking, using SMS for account balance notifications, reserved‑amount and overdraft alerts and app download links; the Infobip partnership (in place since 2010) has delivered cost‑effective, continuously updated communications that support HPB’s 635,000+ customers and growing digital services.
