Telefónica, the global Spanish broadband and telecommunications provider, needed a better way to give private customers metrics-based insight into their projects. Telefónica I+D, its R&D center, was looking to consolidate data such as ticketing, work orders, and alarms while securely separating each project’s information; they used InfluxData’s InfluxDB along with Grafana annotations to help meet this need.

With InfluxData, Telefónica I+D built a centralized metrics view that brought multiple data types together for clearer project visibility. The solution also supported secure database segregation with different user access, helping Telefónica manage many R&D projects in parallel and monitor DevOps more effectively.
