Mitel, a global communications provider powering over 2 billion business connections daily, needed a way to launch its new brand, build internal buy-in for social sharing, and generate high-quality referral leads. In June 2014 they launched Mitel Champions — a scalable advocate program of employees, partners and customers that quickly grew to nearly 2,000 advocates across multiple countries.
Mitel partnered with Influitive’s AdvocateHub and Tango Card to deliver personalized, gamified activities and automated digital rewards worldwide, removing manual program management. In six months the program drove major engagement and referrals: ~1,719 advocates, 856 referrals, 200,000 acts of advocacy, 140,000 social media actions, 2,000+ rewards redeemed and a 20x increase in reward distribution.
