How to Foster the Community Feeling of an In-Person Event, Virtually

Netchex, a payroll and HR services company, wanted to preserve the warm, community-driven feel of its annual Netconnect conference when the pandemic forced the event online. Working with Influitive and its EventHub product, the team looked for a way to engage clients, sponsors, and attendees virtually while still creating the personal touch that defines the brand.

Influitive helped Netchex turn its virtual event into an interactive experience with pre-recorded and live sessions, challenges, scavenger hunts, sponsor activations, and access through its existing Netchex University community. The results were strong: nearly 500 people created accounts, more than 400 actively engaged by completing challenges, the event reached many of Netchex’s highest-revenue clients, and the company closed new deals from the event, including two within a week.
