SMART Technologies brought 76 of its top educator advocates from 17 countries to Calgary for a seven-day SEE Summit and faced the challenge of engaging this global community before, during and after the event while managing registrations, travel logistics, social activity and feedback without juggling multiple tools. They needed a single, measurable, immersive way to collect info, spark participation and monitor the event’s backchannel in real time.
Using Influitive’s AdvocateHub Experiences, SMART created pre-event registration and travel photo challenges, live Twitter and session challenges to monitor sentiment and course-correct, social activities to deepen connections, and post-event tasks (like monthly hat photos) to extend engagement. The result was thousands of completed challenges, “complete buy-in” from advocates, streamlined planning and execution, better on-the-fly adjustments during sessions and a reusable model for future events and trade shows.
