Case Study: Pearson achieves a packed content calendar and 400+ student posts with Influitive

A Influitive Case Study

Preview of the Pearson Case Study

Advocate marketing program of the year

Pearson, the world’s largest learning company, wanted a blog filled with student-authored posts to drive site traffic and boost engagement, but their submission process was slow and students were discouraged by frequent rejections. They needed a more streamlined, student-friendly way to source relevant college-life content.

Pearson redesigned the program by soliciting topic feedback, running targeted “Challenges” through its Pearson Student Insiders, positioning blogging as a portfolio opportunity, and providing an Editor‑in‑Chief to help students polish drafts; they also amplified reach through employees, schools, and advocates. The results: publishing jumped from 1–2 posts/month to 3–4 posts/week (for the next 3 months), with 400+ student-written blogs, 1,600+ pitches and 30+ student-created testimonial videos.
