Bigbasket’s bbinstant business unit operates smart, contactless vending machines that connect to phones via WiFi or Bluetooth. To support widespread, remote deployments Bigbasket needed aggregated broadband over WiFi, 4G backhaul with LTE failover, centralized management, network slicing and app‑only access control. Indio Networks was selected to address these requirements and provided its MobiMax 705N 4G routers and Indio Cloud management platform.

Indio Networks deployed MobiMax 705N routers with LTE failover, integrated them with bbinstant machines, implemented VLAN-based network slicing and restricted WiFi to the bbinstant app, and used Indio Cloud for centralized monitoring and control. The rollout—completed ahead of schedule—exceeded 1,000 installations, delivered seamless, highly available connectivity across locations, eased operations through central management, and enabled deployments anywhere through 4G backhaul with positive user sentiment.
