How Jobberman partnered with iMocha to upskill 40,000+ candidates in job-relevant soft skills

Jobberman, Nigeria’s No.1 recruitment website, partnered with the Mastercard Foundation to upskill millions of job seekers in job-relevant soft skills but faced the challenge of providing calibrated pre- and post-training assessments and remote certification. To meet this need, Jobberman leveraged vendor iMocha (already in use on their portal) to deliver remote assessments and certification for the program.

iMocha worked with Jobberman and Mastercard to define seven soft-skill categories and implement pre- and post-training assessments mapped to four proficiency buckets (Beginner, Intermediate, Proficient, Experienced), delivering tailored training and certified outcomes. As a result, iMocha-enabled assessments helped upskill about 60,000 candidates and contributed to placing over 50,000 candidates in dignified work (with an earlier milestone of ~40,000 placements reported).
