How iMocha helped Chegg bridge the gap between fresh graduates and employers through skills assessments

Chegg, a leading student-first e-learning company with over three million subscribers, faced a gap between fresh graduates and employers because it lacked a reliable way to quantify job-ready skills. To address this, Chegg partnered with iMocha to introduce skills assessments and integrations that would evaluate candidates’ competency and close the employer–candidate gap.

iMocha built seamless APIs and mapped Chegg’s course content to its comprehensive skills library, delivering white‑label assessments and insightful reports that showed competency and improvement areas. As a result, 3,468 candidates took assessments, 1,200 achieved a priority pass, and 200 candidates were shortlisted by Capgemini and Amazon; Chegg now identifies and places top job‑ready talent at companies including Capgemini, Salesforce, and Amazon thanks to iMocha.
