Akamai, a global leader in CDN and cloud services, needed to rapidly filter large volumes of applicants for its Akamai Technical Academy—receiving 500+ applications in a single day—while assessing written/verbal English and analytical skills across time zones and minimizing bias. To solve this, Akamai used iMocha’s remote automated assessment platform (Interview Mocha) with proctoring and prompt, accurate candidate reports.

iMocha’s assessments and comparative reports let Akamai screen candidates quickly and fairly: 1,540 English and analytical assessments were conducted, 215 candidates were assessed, and 64 were selected for the next phase, with first-level selection completed within two days. iMocha’s proctored, data-driven approach reduced manual effort, expanded reach across the USA and Poland, and helped Akamai build a more diverse, strategic talent pipeline.
