Cyient restructures its financial department with Interview Mocha

Cyient, a global engineering and technology solutions company, needed to restructure its finance department by assessing employees for role fitment, identifying skill gaps, and completing competency mapping quickly while removing human bias. To do this, Cyient partnered with iMocha, using iMocha’s competency-mapping solution—leveraging its extensive ready-to-use skills library and remotely proctored assessments—to evaluate both core accounting skills and complementary abilities like communication and data interpretation.

iMocha delivered automated, transparent assessments and analytics that assessed 72 employees and allotted all 72 to roles based on skill levels, eliminating biased decision-making, reducing administrative burden and costs, and giving Cyient’s talent team a precise picture of capability and role fitment. As a result, Cyient successfully restructured its financial department and is now planning to use iMocha for recruitment as well.
