Coupa leverages Interview Mocha to hire 92 candidates in a year

Coupa, a cloud business spend management company, struggled to quantify candidate skills for roles across Engineering, Cloud Computing and Account Management in India—relying on resumes led to irrelevant interviews, long time-to-hire, and inconsistent hiring decisions. To solve this, Coupa partnered with iMocha (Interview Mocha) to introduce an automated skills-assessment solution.

Using iMocha, Coupa created 13 role-specific tests, automated invitations and tracking, and leveraged features like a vast skill library, custom questions and remote proctoring to standardize evaluations and remove gut-based decisions. The platform helped evaluate 1,900 candidates, shortlist 400 and hire 92 people for technical roles, materially improving pipeline quality and selection accuracy.
