Cloud Assert, an independent software vendor and solutions integrator in the cloud space, faced a daunting campus-recruitment challenge: screening roughly 500 students per drive, completing selections within a single day, and reliably shortlisting developers based on coding skills. To address this, Cloud Assert adopted iMocha’s Interview Mocha skills-assessment platform, using multi-level coding and MCQ assessments with advanced analytics and rapid report generation.

Using iMocha, Cloud Assert deployed a four-level funnel—525 students took level 1, 215 advanced to level 2 (coding), 100 to level 3, and 25 to level 4—completing the entire process in about 10 hours and shortlisting 25 developers from two drives (with 9 hires from another university). iMocha’s assessments, filtration and reporting automated the hiring workflow, improved quality of hires, and will be rolled out for future campus and entry-level recruitment.
