Swisscom Aligns Team Skills to Today’s Cyber Threats with Immersive Labs

Swisscom, one of Switzerland’s leading telecom and IT companies, faced a shortage of cybersecurity talent and needed to rapidly upskill new recruits while improving security awareness across its entire workforce. To address this, Swisscom evaluated and selected Immersive Labs’ Cyber Resilience Platform, launching a proof-of-concept in September 2021 to find a best‑of‑breed, engaging learning solution.

Immersive Labs was integrated via single sign‑on into Swisscom’s SKILLup e‑learning platform and made available company‑wide, including Cyber Crisis Simulator exercises and DevSecOps collections. The platform scaled quickly—licensed seats grew from 440 to 1,800 voluntary participants within four months (doubling in two months)—and became Swisscom’s number one internal e‑learning tool, delivering benchmarkable reporting for regulators, measurable compliance gains, and rapid, organization‑wide increases in cyber resilience.
