Toyota needed to engage its 85,000 U.S. associates with a dramatic but essential story—its history and core traditions of customer focus, quality, and the Toyota Production System. The challenge was to present that history in a way that would grab attention and ensure employees truly understood and lived those values.
iLinc developed "Toyota Traditions" in three formats—a 90‑minute multimedia program, a half‑day workshop, and a self‑study workbook—centered on active learning (participants explore production problems and propose solutions). The interactive, flexible approach made a lasting impression on new hires and strengthened awareness of Toyota’s traditions, history, and successes across the workforce.
