EDT Learning, a provider of user-friendly e‑Learning solutions, was engaged by 3M to quickly gather dentist feedback on a new veneer cementation product. Because most dentists work independently, reaching a broad, representative group in a short timeframe without committing to a costly live event or building a dedicated website was the primary challenge.

EDT delivered a live, synchronous web-based learning event on sensitivity prevention that attracted over 70 dentists nationwide, supported by two subject-matter experts, mailed prep kits, real-time polls and surveys, and an on-demand replay. The session gave 3M the market research they needed, achieved more than 95% satisfaction (84% of first-time online learners would pursue similar courses again), cost about $300 per participant, and was completed in under 45 days—saving significant time and expense versus an in-person approach.
