Amway, a consumer‑products company active in over 100 countries with more than 3 million Amway Business Owners (ABOs) selling 450+ products, needed a way for its widely distributed network to share feedback, propose product and business ideas, and collaborate across markets and languages.
Amway launched The Voice, an IdeaScale‑based crowdsourcing community promoted through social, print, video (the top driver of registrations), events, web and email, and supported by a 12‑language translation workflow with in‑market moderators. The program far exceeded targets: ABOs from 88% of Amway markets registered (vs. a 50% goal), 37% of registrants actively participated (vs. a 10% goal), generating 780 ideas, 1,800 comments and over 9,000 votes, with many ideas moving toward implementation.
