BT Group, a global telecommunications company, needed a single, accessible system to replace two aging, unlinked audit and document-management databases that were unreliable and couldn’t deliver the audit statistics or standardised processes the business required. The challenge was to consolidate end-to-end audit planning, tracking and document control into a usable platform for the auditing community while supporting multiple business lines and legal separations.

BT implemented Q-Pulse from Ideagen, using its configurable Audit, CA/PA and Document modules to create a centralised, flexible solution. The rollout delivered standardised processes, automatic reminders, escalations and robust reporting (including Excel integration), reduced time and costs for tracking and closing actions, improved senior-management visibility, and was successfully expanded across other lines of the business.
