Alexander Dennis Ltd (ADL) is the UK’s leading bus and coach manufacturer with around 2,000 staff. ADL needed to standardize its Business Management System—covering document control, calibration, audits and corrective actions—and tackle inconsistent, site-level supplier management to gain visibility of supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.

ADL implemented Q-Pulse Enterprise, creating a central Supplier Quality Assurance database and multiple business databases, plus a Web Reporting Portal used by 400 suppliers. The solution unified supplier processes across sites, automated notifications and targets, and delivered group-wide KPIs and reporting tools that speeded communication, exposed repeat failures, enabled root-cause analysis and drove measurable supplier and internal process improvements.
