A Ideagen Case Study
Anthony Nolan is a UK charity that recruits and manages stem cell and cord blood donors and operates in a highly regulated environment (CQC, HTA, WMDA, Netcord‑FACT). During a Netcord‑FACT audit the charity was cited for using two separate systems for quality management — Q‑Pulse at the main site and a simple web file‑sharing tool at collection centres — because the latter offered no formal document acknowledgement, creating a compliance gap that put accreditation at risk.
Anthony Nolan implemented Q‑Pulse as the single stand‑alone QMS across all sites, bringing document control, versioning, formal approvals and acknowledgements, and storage of donor and clinical records into one system. The change cut document approval times, made up‑to‑date SOPs available on demand, dramatically reduced inspection times by giving auditors direct access, and enabled the charity to meet Netcord‑FACT requirements and maintain ongoing regulatory compliance.
