Ideagen’s Q-Pulse replaces South Tees NHS Trust paperbased quality management system (QMS)

South Tees NHS Foundation Trust’s Medical Physics Department faced a growing administrative burden as treatments and procedures became more complex: their paper-based quality management system (QMS) was cumbersome, documents and check-sheets multiplied, and staff struggled to locate records while needing to demonstrate compliance with ISO 9001:2008 and multiple healthcare regulations.

The trust implemented Ideagen’s Q-Pulse across Radiotherapy Physics, Radiotherapy and Oncology on two sites, reorganising folders, using keyword search, access controls, related-document links and CA/PA modules, plus automated reminders. The result was faster document retrieval, higher staff engagement (evidenced by increased change requests), improved non-conformance management and continued ISO 9001 compliance.
