A Ideagen Case Study
ZOT Engineering, a Scottish manufacturer founded in 1975 that produces printed circuit boards, sheet metal and electro‑mechanical assemblies across three divisions, was struggling with fragmented quality processes. Data and records were scattered across Microsoft Access databases and spreadsheets, making customer returns, non‑conformance tracking, calibration and audit history hard to manage and integrate with their existing QMS.
They implemented Ideagen’s Q‑Pulse as an adaptable, integrated electronic QMS that became a single point of control across the business. Q‑Pulse streamlined and automated document control, returns handling, calibration and audits, improved reporting and visibility across all sites, supported CSIP/SC21 tracking and helped ZOT achieve BS EN 9100:2003 (AS 9100) certification — significantly reducing bureaucracy and improving overall quality performance.
