McLean Packaging Corporation, a privately held packaging manufacturer with about $50M turnover and three facilities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, faced a fragmented, paper- and spreadsheet-based quality system that was slow to access, duplicated work and lacked management visibility and KPI insight. The company needed to modernise processes across document control, audits, supplier and customer management, staff training and equipment maintenance to improve quality, efficiency and performance.

At the recommendation of its Quality Management Team McLean implemented Ideagen’s Q-Pulse, with in‑depth training and leadership from Quality Manager Karen Weeks, completing rollout ahead of schedule in March 2015. The integrated QMS replaced multiple legacy systems and delivered faster problem resolution, higher productivity, improved supplier performance, lower non‑quality costs, stronger customer relationships and better operational visibility and control for senior management.
