Homerton Fertility Centre continues to achieve accreditation with help from Q-Pulse

Homerton Fertility Centre, part of Homerton University Hospital NHS Trust in east London, needed a formal quality system to meet Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority (HFEA) accreditation and to manage SOPs, audits, corrective/preventive actions and patient information across staff and consulting rooms. The challenge was ensuring staff had controlled, up-to-date access to protocols and that the Centre could respond quickly and consistently to issues and inspections.

The Centre implemented Ideagen’s Q-Pulse compliance software to centralise documentation, automate review reminders and control user access, with availability in all consulting rooms. As a result, Homerton streamlined audits and CA/PA management, reduced the risk of staff using outdated information, sped up corrective actions, improved patient-facing documentation, and maintained HFEA accreditation with a more user-friendly quality system.
