A Ideagen Case Study
European Air Transport (EAT) Leipzig, a DHL Express subsidiary and core maintenance organisation serving Europe, expanded its scope in 2010 from Part-145 to Part-M and AOC and relocated its quality department to Leipzig. A 2011 requirement to implement an Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) exposed gaps in existing tools and drove the need for an integrated quality and safety solution to standardise processes, reduce human errors and improve operational efficiency.
EAT implemented Ideagen’s Q-Pulse, using the incidents and occurrences module for audit planning and follow-up, IOSA-compliant document control, and ISMS-scoped recording and trend monitoring of occurrence reports. The rollout delivered a significant reduction in human errors, increased operational efficiency, met IT requirements for modern architecture and permissions, and is being considered for wider deployment across other DHL airlines.
