Doncasters Group Ltd, a global engineering firm that manufactures precision components, faced a fragmented, paper-based quality management system that left different people managing complaints, internal issues and audits in isolation. The lack of a single, electronic source of truth meant leadership could not easily see day-by-day or week-by-week performance or act on emerging problems.
They implemented Ideagen’s Q-Pulse, initially at the Bramah site and then rolled out to four UK sites, to centralise non-conformance, maintenance, recall and calibration management and to automate training records, notifications and escalations. The configurable, modular system removed many manual errors, improved visibility and quality awareness across sites, saved time on equipment and training administration, and delivered measurable improvements in control and compliance with plans to expand to further UK and international sites.
