Preview of the Brussels Airlines Case Study

Brussels Airlines travels to operational excellence with Gael Insight

Brussels Airlines, a Star Alliance member with some 3,500 employees and 49 aircraft, needed to modernise its safety and quality systems after stricter EASA and ICAO regulations and an internal merger of safety and quality departments. The airline sought a single, enterprise-grade solution to support reporting, investigations, compliance monitoring, risk assessment and risk-based performance monitoring across all operational teams.

Brussels Airlines implemented the Gael Insight suite (Q-Pulse, Gael Risk and Performance Monitoring), giving a single integrated platform for all departments and external partners. The rollout delivered faster, more efficient investigations, centralized performance data, proactive risk management (including safe carriage of specialized cargo), and mobile reporting for cockpit, cabin and ground crews — enabling earlier hazard detection, reduced duplication and clearer visibility of safety and operational performance.
